Since 2008 the company has been operating under the name Catwalk Enterprises. Well-known became the business under the name XÄM.

The company has been active in the fashion industry since 1998. The main focus has been the production of demanding shows for hundreds of domestic and international fashion companies. Under the company name XÄM Karl-Rainer von der Ahé has initiated the event „Heringsdorf goes Fashion“ on island Usedom in the Baltic Resort Heringsdorf in 1998. 

The firm has arranged shows with outstanding fashion labels and designers in Heringsdorf multiple times per annum until 2006. Well-known brands like Max Mara, Cerruti, Iceberg, Otto Kern, Guy Laroche, Nina Ricci, Escada, Lars Wallin, Zlawa Zaitzew, Louis Féraud, Dino Alves, Maciej Zien, Ümit Ünal and many more attended the events.

In 2001 Karl-Rainer von der Ahé initiated the „Baltic Fashion Award“ as addition to „Heringsdorf goes Fashion“. The „Baltic Fashion Award“ under the management of von der Ahé presented distinguished designers from the Baltic area and their collections on the catwalk at the Baltic Sea. Successful labels like Odd Molly had been awarded until 2005.

Over the years the company has carried out numerous shows in Germany and abroad. It presented productions under the lead of Karl-Rainer von der Ahé in the style of classical catwalks, gala as well as modern dance theatre and performances.
Established shows took place in Delft / Holland and in Oostende / Belgium for Piet Stockmans in line with the Berlin Fashion Week in January 2005, Szczecin / Poland and at the gala „Ball des Sports“ in Wiesbaden in 2007 amongst others.

Catwalk Enterprises holds the second official catwalk at the „Berlin Fashion Week“ under the label „Showfloor Berlin“. Shows of „Green Avantgarde“ take place in the „Ozeaneum Stralsund“ and the „Catwalk Binz“ will be happening in Rügen.

Catwalk Enterprises covers all challenges of current fashion presentations with its stable and competent team. The company offers full service from choreography, music management, light and sound technique to model booking, hair styling, make-up as well as complete event management and public relations.
